RIOU GLASS offers you a range of unique splashbacks combining different decorative techniques, mastered for many years: sandblasting, lacquering and printing digital.
Combined or separated, these techniques offer multiple facets for original creations. They bring the finishing touch to all types of cooking.
To make the splashbacks:
Models using sandblasting are made on 6 mm tempered glazing, sandblasted then lacquered.
The lacquered models also use 6 mm thick, tempered glazing (see different thicknesses for the printed glass range).
Digitally printed models are dipped after printing, which allows the colors to glaze and make the pattern unalterable.
A glass splashback must match the surrounding kitchen furniture while adding the finishing touch. The little extra that will stand out from other kitchens. The chosen theme will reveal a little of the mind of its owner.
Once again RIOU GLASS called on designers Anne and Philippe Sorigué to create all the splashback ranges including an exclusive collection.

Range
The Rglass CREA range of decorative glazing for splashbacks from RIOU Glass is made up of two collections:
- The DESIGNER COLLECTION: exclusive to RIOU Glass, this collection was thought up and designed from scratch by Anne and Philippe Sorigué. It is made up of 3 ranges: o Empreintes: it is the most innovative in terms of technicality. It combines sandblasting, a more traditional technique, with a shimmering lacquer which adds a touch of modernity. Depending on the light and its point of view, the decor reveals all its facets. 5 models are offered (Trame, Liane, Brise, Sauvage and Vénus) on 5 sparkling backgrounds (Slate, Silver, Mother-of-pearl, Sienna and Amber). Venus is the most emblematic model in the range. It features a bas-relief of naked women, inspired by master paintings, making the splashback a true work of art!
- ESTAMPES: offered in 5 colors of marbled backgrounds (Scum, Abyss, Tropic, Coral and Ocean), this range is a subtle blend of Japanese art and street art. It offers 3 aquatic designs available
in black or white (Jellyfish, Anemones and Fighters) bringing a light and poetic movement to the splashback. - Tulle: this range inspires delicacy. A grid covers the surface of the splashback like a veil which deforms and undulates. 2 designs are available: Envol, inspired by the fine, rich skin of a lizard, and Cattleya, an orchid pattern. For each, 3 color variations are offered. The Estampes and Tulle ranges are produced using digital printing.
- The DIGITAL PRINT range: to create this range, Anne and Philippe Sorigué chose quality images that they carefully selected and then reworked to integrate them into the world of cooking. It is available in 8 ranges, each imitating the most trendy decors and textures of the moment. Among these, Esprit Verrières transforms the splashback into a traditional glass roof. Trompe-l’oeil immerses you in natural settings (sea, forest, etc.) opening urban homes to the outside world. Nature brings freshness to the kitchen by offering a range of unexpected materials on a splashback: cacti, turmeric, caviar… These textures have been worked on to offer a totally surprising ensemble.
- The PRINTED GLASS range: to make these splashbacks, the molten glass is passed between two rollers which print a relief on one side of the glass. The back of the glass is then lacquered in the RAL color of your choice. The whole thing forms a sparkling splashback that catches the light and gives it a new dimension. 4 models are offered: Delta, Dream, Patterned 130 and Raywall 90T.
- The LACQUERED WINDOWS range: it is a response to the majority of requests made on the splashback market. It consists of 2 families of tempered lacquered glazing: the Standard range available in 9 colors, and the Smart range which allows you to choose the RAL shade of your choice.
RIOU Glass glass splashbacks are available at our processing sites throughout France as well as from our partner transformers, glaziers and kitchen designers.

The Rglass CREA range is 100% French designed and manufactured. It suits all styles of joinery and materials (wood, PVC, aluminum, mixed), both new and renovated. The decorations are also available in single tempered and/or laminated safety glazing for interior applications. In insulating glazing (double or triple glazing), Rglass CREA decorative glass combines design and technical performance: light, reinforced thermal insulation, acoustic comfort, solar control, burglary resistance, heating and even easy maintenance.
