Laminated anti-vandal and break-in retardant glazing

PS PS

Our PS range of laminated glass products anti-vandalism and intrusion-deterrent security are glazing units made up of two or more single sheets, adhered tightly together using interposed plastic films (PVB).

They meet the requirements for the protection of individuals and of goods described in standard EN 356. It classifies these security products on a increasing scale from 1 to 8. Two different test devices are used to classify products as being vandalism resistant or intrusion resistant. Vandalism is represented by several falling 4.11 kg steel balls. Glazing is classified as being in a given category (P1A à P5A) if the steel ball does not pass through it. Intrusion is represented by impacts by hammers and axes using an automatic mechanism described by the standard for classes P6B à P8B.

Differents applications :

  • Residential (houses, apartments)
  • Non-residential (offices, workshops, stores, jewellers, museums etc.)
