Every year, the Batimat trade show offers a number of innovations. This year's innovation includes StoreVision, the new range of insulating glass units with integrated blinds from France's leading independent glassmaker RIOU Glass. This eco-sustainable solution, which does not require technical approval, combines double glazing and a high-performance blind. This is the result of its association with the world leader in technical blinds, Pellini. To produce this new brand of glazing, the two players created a joint venture this year and acquired a stake in the Italian glass products processor Cappelletti & Roleri, whose plant in Settima - which already has the know-how to manufacture this type of solution - will be entirely dedicated to the production of the new range. Announced in May, StoreVision is now available and targets the public and private residential market: single-family homes, collective dwellings, etc. "There is a real need for this type of solution, and it's not just a question of the market. There is a real need for this type of solution," explains Christine Riou Feron, President of RIOU Glass. By launching this new range, we have created a unique offer on the market based on the convergence of the expertise of our two companies. The StoreVision range consists of two models: a Venetian blind and a "blackout" version with roller blinds, which can be opened manually, fully automatically or by remote control. Three slat finishes are available: white, beige and metallic gray.

Manufacturing and delivery in 5 weeks, throughout France

To ensure the exclusive distribution of the products in France, RIOU Glass will lead a reliable and solid network of partners made up of sales outlets of major joinery manufacturers, and independent manufacturers and installers, equipped with a calculator to make instant price offers. To reach private individuals, RIOU Glass is also launching the storevision.fr platform. Depending on the glazing chosen (thermal, solar, acoustic, burglar-proof), the blind model, dimensions and finishes, the RIOU Glass digital tool provides estimates 24 hours a day, including the price of the glazing and a recommended price for the joinery, as well as a simulator to make projections at the user's home. Once the estimate is established, the buyer is then redirected to the nearest retail partner. Once the order is placed, the glass is manufactured and delivered within 5 weeks. The storage and shipping of the products are handled by the RIOU Glass network and very soon via a logistics platform which will be based in the Rhône-Alpes region.
