A liquid crystal coating is applied between sheets of extra-clear glass. When a low electrical current is applied to it, it changes from opaque to transparent in an instant, as the situation requires.
It is used mainly in internal partitions or as a projection screen, in windows or in outer walls and can combine other properties such as heat and sound insulation or intrusion protection etc.
